About the Role

You will join a dynamic team at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, within the Operating Room (OR) department. This is a PRN (as needed) position working day shifts in an onsite capacity. You will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.

In this role, you will prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. You will model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care. The position involves direct care in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), or Operating Room levels of care, adhering to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
