About the Role

This position is an onsite Registered Nurse role within the Operating Room (OR) AIP department at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. As a dynamic member of our team, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes. You will work within a multidisciplinary team that prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.

In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. The role involves direct care in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), or Operating Room levels. You will model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth, while welcoming new knowledge. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation, ensuring you adhere to AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards.
