This position serves as a Nurse Educator within an acute care hospital setting, specifically focused on the development and launch of a new Cardiac Catheterization department. The primary mission is to provide comprehensive nursing education and training support to ensure the successful establishment of cardiac cath services.
As a key member of the Nursing Education team, you will bridge the gap between clinical expertise and instructional delivery. Your day-to-day involves designing and executing training initiatives for nursing staff, ensuring they are fully prepared to operate within the specialized Cardiac Cath Lab environment. This role is critical for building a competent, confident team capable of delivering high-quality acute care.
Candidates must possess a valid New York State RN License and primary source verification from the NYSED. The application process requires submission of credentials for verification, including AHA BLS certification. Selected candidates will undergo a review of their clinical background, specifically verifying the required Cardiac Cath Lab experience and education history.
