As an MDS Nurse at our Mandan facility, you will serve as the direct lead for the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, utilizing independent judgment to plan, organize, and evaluate the activities of professional and supportive nursing staff. Your role is pivotal in ensuring resident care plans are current and effective, collaborating closely with residents, families, advocates, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to provide the highest quality of life possible.
In this position, you will function as a Registered Nurse on the floor, applying the nursing process to deliver individualized care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. You may also serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while providing the necessary support to ensure safe and reliable care delivery. Your practice will be grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses, adhering to state regulations and professional standards.

Affiliation with an outside professional nursing organization.
