We are actively seeking Registered Nurses to join our dedicated teams across several Medicine units, including SLA 3, SLA 4, V5N, V5W, Cel 3, and Cel 4 (Adult Acute Care Medicine with Telemetry), as well as SLA 5 (Renal and Palliative Specialty Medicine) and V4W (Acute Care for Older Adults Medicine).
To be part of our organization, every employee is expected to understand and share in the YNHHS Vision, support our Mission, and live our core values: integrity, patient-centered care, respect, accountability, and compassion. These values must guide our actions as individuals and professionals every day.
As a Registered Nurse, you will work under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Clinical Coordinator to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care according to unit policies and procedures. You will also provide supervision to non-RN personnel on your assigned unit. In a charge role, you will delegate and supervise unit activities, potentially working across other nursing units as needed to support staff and patient distribution.
Your day-to-day impact involves collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized plans of care that involve patients and their families. You will function as a preceptor to new staff and serve as a charge nurse, ensuring smooth departmental operations while meeting performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, and resource utilization.
