About the Role
This Registered Nurse position is based onsite at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado, within the Med Surg Progressive Care department. You will join a dynamic team providing direct patient care in a technically complex Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role utilizes the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope practice while prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based care.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes, contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. The position involves a day and night rotation schedule, totaling 72 hours per pay period. As a member of this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will welcome new knowledge and model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. Clinical Educators will support your journey with individualized specialty education and training, utilizing the AACN Synergy Model and specialty certification standards to validate your competency throughout your orientation.

Requirements
