We are a dynamic 19-bed Speciality Care Unit providing both Intensive Care (ICU) and Progressive Care (PCU/Stepdown) services. Our unit is designed to support quality care and strong teamwork with specific nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 in PCU, 1:2 in ICU, and 1:1 for critical, intubated patients. Our team fosters an environment of engagement, community involvement, and a shared commitment to the principle of "First Do No Harm."

To join our remarkable team, candidates must hold an active North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact license. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during that period, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. You must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course to be considered for current licensure status.
