As a Registered Nurse at our Med Center East location, you will serve as a competent clinical partner dedicated to delivering safe, optimal care to patients across all age groups. This role is designed for professionals who utilize the nursing process and practice standards to intervene effectively, ensuring health outcomes that prioritize the patient and their family.
In this position, you will integrate Nursing Practice, Leadership, Professional Profile, and Practice Outcomes competencies. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to coordinate complex patient care, evaluate outcomes based on evidence and the UofL Health quality model, and actively participate in improving the quality of care within your clinical area. Whether orienting new team members, supervising students, or acting as a relief charge nurse, you will be a vital advocate for patient rights, safety, and satisfaction.
New Registered Nurse graduates will participate in our comprehensive Nurse Residency program, which is required for all new hires and must be successfully completed. Experienced nurses with a background in hospital patient care are encouraged to apply.
