You will join Unit 3D, a Med-Surg Telemetry unit dedicated to adult medical patients requiring continuous monitoring. This unit serves as our Innovation Unit (IU), acting as a "testing ground" for new ideas to solve current and future nursing challenges. Here, you will utilize quick PDSA cycles to drive improvement, aligning your work with four ministry-wide nursing strategies. The environment is designed to foster excellent critical thinking and assessment skills while offering a collaborative space where your voice matters.
In this position, you will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients. Your role involves evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers and coordinating patient needs across various departments. You will uphold patient rights and ensure the confidentiality of all patient information, performing all duties in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
