As a Registered Nurse (RN) at our GSS SD Rapid City St Martin facility, you will serve as a vital member of our care team. Your primary mission is to utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, collaborating closely with families, interdisciplinary colleagues, and providers to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans.
In this role, you will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, addressing all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. You may also serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe, reliable administration of care. Your work is grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as published by the American Nurses Association.
This position is based in Rapid City, SD, with a requirement to travel to support multiple locations within a 150-mile radius of your permanent address. Mileage reimbursement is provided for required travel. The role is PRN with a flexible schedule, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per month and one weekend shift per month. Shifts vary, and premium pay rates apply for weekend, evening, and night shifts.
