We are seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our immediate hiring initiative across all Operating Rooms and the Surgical Services Perioperative Program. Whether you are an experienced OR professional or a new graduate looking to launch your career, there is a place for you here.
In our CCT Operating Room, the only Level 1 trauma OR in the state, you will thrive in a busy, fluid environment. This educational facility operates 24/7 with 18 operating rooms, requiring staff to be flexible and adaptable. You will work alongside a dedicated team in a culture that places patient safety at the forefront. Schedules are flexible with self-scheduling options, featuring 3x 12-hour shifts and an average of 18 hours of call per pay period.
For those with a heart for children, our Pediatric Operating Room offers a unique opportunity to transform young lives. As the only children's hospital in New Mexico, our team provides advanced surgical care in a supportive, family-centered environment. You will collaborate with experienced surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver compassionate care to infants, children, and adolescents. We offer comprehensive training for those transitioning into pediatric perioperative nursing, allowing you to make a lasting impact during critical moments in a child's life.
Our Eye Surgery Center and Surgical Services Peri-Op Program provide specialized care and training. The Perioperative Program is a 6-month training track designed for nurses with no prior OR experience. Through a blend of classroom didactics and on-the-job training with preceptors, you will master the equipment, supplies, and processes specific to various service specialties. Upon completion, you will partner with the OR Manager to select your schedule and begin your journey as a fully qualified perioperative nurse.
We have immediate openings and aim to move quickly. Once you apply, a hiring manager will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your interests and potential placement. We offer sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance to support your transition. Compensation is competitive, with shift differentials available for weekday nights (17%), weekend nights (26%), and weekend days (15%).
