This position serves as a Registered Nurse within the Cell Therapy Apheresis department at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. The role provides direct patient care in an outpatient infusion and apheresis setting, utilizing the nursing process in strict accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. The position requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. A key aspect of the role involves collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including managing transfers, discharges, referrals, and addressing spiritual or psychosocial support needs. Additionally, you will evaluate the learning needs of patients and families, providing education appropriate to their age, culture, and condition, while potentially precepting student nurses and new hires.
This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote options available. The position operates on a full-time basis during day shifts.
