About the Role
This position serves as a Registered Nurse within our outpatient infusion and apheresis setting. You will provide direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to optimize outcomes while adhering to the organization's policies, values, and mission. The role requires critical thinking and decisive judgment to manage patient care in a fast-paced environment, often with minimal supervision.
You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating care related to infusion services based on comprehensive patient assessments. A key part of your day involves monitoring and communicating patient conditions, collaborating across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals, and addressing spiritual or psychosocial support needs. Additionally, you will evaluate learning needs to provide tailored education to patients and families, and you may have the opportunity to precept student nurses and new hires.
