This opportunity is based at AHN Wexford Hospital in Wexford, PA, the newest full-service, clinician-led hospital in the network. Opened in September 2021, this state-of-the-art, all-private 160-bed facility provides world-class healthcare closer to home for residents in the North Hills communities of Pittsburgh. The position is located on the 5 North Med/Surg Unit, a 36-bed adult medical/surgical floor that cares for a variety of patients, including occasional telemetry and monitored cases.
As a Registered Nurse, you will assess human responses and plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals and families. You will be fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered. Your role involves providing leadership in a professional practice setting, mentoring colleagues, and fostering a culture where risk-taking is safe and expected. You will utilize the nursing process to create individualized care plans, promote patient safety initiatives, and engage in continuous lifelong learning to advance the profession.
