About the Role
Join UCHealth as an RN Fellow in Women and Infants, where you will care for mothers and newborns in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. This structured fellowship is designed specifically for new and early-career RNs, offering a comprehensive pathway to mastery in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
You will provide evidence-based, compassionate care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum settings. Your day-to-day involves performing assessments, implementing care plans, and documenting accurately in the EHR. You will administer medications and treatments safely while supporting labor, delivery, and immediate newborn care in close collaboration with the care team. A key part of your role is educating patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge plans.
Beyond clinical duties, you will actively participate in fellowship education, simulation, and precepted clinical experiences. This program ensures you are supported by physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes while upholding the highest standards of safety and infection control.
