About the Role

This position is part of the UCHealth Enterprise Float Pool, located at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative clinical environment. You will utilize the nursing process to prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.

Working on the night shift as a PRN (as needed) employee, you will deliver direct care at the Emergency Department level, including up to and including Level 1 trauma designation. You will value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes and contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care. This role also involves modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth, while welcoming new knowledge to support continuous growth.

Clinical Educators will support and guide you with individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. BCEN certification standards are integrated into the evidence-based care models you will utilize.
