About the Role
This position is part of the UCHealth Enterprise Float Pool, located at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative clinical environment. You will utilize the nursing process to deliver Emergency Department level of care, including up to and including Level 1 trauma designation.
You will value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. This role involves modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Clinical Educators will support and guide you with individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of accredited nursing program if less than 3 years experience
- verifiedState RN licensure
- verified6 months nursing experience
- verifiedPALS certification within 6 months of hire
- verifiedNIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
- verifiedTNCC or ATCN certification within 6 months of hire
- verifiedBLS card from AHA or Red Cross before start date
