We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) to lead our 204-bed facility as the RN Director of Nursing. In this pivotal role, you will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing department. Your mission is to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in strict accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
You will serve as a vital liaison between patients, families, and support departments to adequately plan for patient needs. This position requires you to collect, analyze, and manage data to drive continuous improvement, while making independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. You will implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department, ensuring that all staff adhere to company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.
Beyond leadership, you will exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients, assisting in critical tasks such as patient evacuation and performing functions of a staff nurse as required. You will work productively on an interdisciplinary team, maintaining professional working relationships with all associates and vendors while upholding the confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information.
