About the Role
The Coordinator serves as a Registered Nurse with recognized leadership abilities and sound clinical skills, actively assisting the Director of Perioperative Services in coordinating the day-to-day activities of the unit. This role takes a leading position in nursing performance improvement, job performance evaluations, staffing, scheduling, and the orientation and training of new employees. As a positive patient advocate and change agent, the Coordinator ensures the seamless flow of patient care between Pre-op, Surgery, and PACU while promoting professional growth within the department.

- check_circleManage patient flow between Pre-op, Surgery, OR, and PACU
- check_circleTabulate daily and end-of-pay-period Kronos payroll data
- check_circleOversee quarterly Quality Assurance reporting by PI nurses
- check_circleVerify timeliness of staff credentials, licenses, and health assessments
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Nursing
- verified2 years Operating Room experience immediately prior to application
- verifiedRegistered Nurse - RN (CA DCA) license
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- verifiedFire Life Safety Training (LA City) within 30 days of hire
- verifiedCertified Perioperative Registered Nurse - CNOR (AORN) preferred
