The Cardiovascular Unit provides professional nursing care to out-patients for planned procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Radiology Lab, and a variety of Radiology procedures. This dynamic 15-bay unit provides Pre- and Post-Procedural care. You will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient and family-centered care with responsibility for treating a diverse patient population.
As a Level I Tertiary care hospital, we provide care with state-of-the-art technology. We are committed to the professional development of our nurses, offering opportunities for education through conferences and Board Certification. Our nurses also have the opportunity to advance through the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP). Our unit operates Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with occasional on-call shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. depending on the FTE.
