About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy department, you will serve as a vital advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of our patients. This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, stressful environment. You will be responsible for performing plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments, while documenting patient care and monitoring conditions to communicate effectively with the care team, physicians, and families.
Your day will involve collaborating across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, and referrals, while also providing essential patient and family education tailored to their specific age, culture, and condition. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, ensuring they receive compassionate support throughout their journey.
