As an RN Cath Lab PRN, you will join a team of highly-skilled and compassionate professionals dedicated to providing quality patient care. In this position, you will be responsible for all testing and therapeutics performed in the cath lab, including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker procedures, angioplasty, stent procedures, and various other interventional procedures. You will facilitate effective communication among departmental staff using the SBAR process to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care. Your day will involve assisting patients through every aspect of the procedure, from transport and site preparation to sterile procedures, monitoring, and post-procedure hemostasis. You will also manage emergent cases, maintain accurate patient records, and prepare tests for physician interpretation.
