About the Role
In this RN Apheresis position, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and state standards. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleAdminister prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic response

- check_circleRespond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs
- check_circleDocument care administration thoroughly and timely in patient records
Requirements
- verifiedBSN required within 24 months of hire (if hired after 6/1/12)
- verifiedMinimum one-year experience in acute care hospital within last three years
- verifiedCurrent RN license in Texas or compact license
- verifiedCurrent American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider required
Nice to Have
Experience in Hematopoietic Progenitor Cells (HPC). American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS certification. PALS certification.
