About the Role

As an ICU Registered Nurse, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn. Whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives, you will help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

In this role, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the scope and standards of practice for your state and specialty. Using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage," you will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. You will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, translating complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding and preparing them for future self-management. Your work will directly contribute to an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that support overall departmental performance.
