IVA'AL Solutions, LLC is a federally recognized American Indian-owned company dedicated to supporting the Air Force Family Advocacy Program (FAP). As a Department of Defense-funded initiative, the FAP serves a critical mission: to prevent and respond to intimate partner abuse, child abuse, and problematic sexual behavior involving children and youth. The team operates across U.S. Air Force Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs), staffing qualified professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of military families nationwide.
The Air Force Family Advocacy Nurse (FAN) serves as a vital member of the interdisciplinary FAP team, with a primary focus on implementing and managing the installation's New Parent Support Program (NPSP). This role is designed to deliver comprehensive, home-based prevention services aimed at preventing child and partner maltreatment.
In this position, you will provide nursing home visit services that encompass education, support, and anticipatory guidance for families from the prenatal stage through the toddler years. Your work will address a wide range of critical topics, including growth and development, nutrition, parenting, attachment and bonding, family health issues, family violence dynamics, problem-solving, communication skills, and bereavement. You will interact directly with expecting parents and families with children ages 0-3, building strong rapport to foster healthy family environments.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) security clearance. The selection process prioritizes qualified candidates who meet all licensure and experience requirements. As an American Indian-owned company, IVA'AL Solutions applies an Indian Preference Policy, extending priority to American Indian candidates who are otherwise equally qualified in education, skills, training, and experience.
