About the Team
UCHealth is a pioneer in solid organ transplantation, specializing in kidney, liver, pancreas, and heart/lung procedures, as well as thoracic surgery and hepatology. We are the only academic medical center in the Rocky Mountain region with a dedicated Transplant specialty unit, boasting extensive experience in living donor liver transplants. Our team is dedicated to improving lives through learning, healing, and discovery, while fostering human connection in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to work on a dynamic team within a highly specialized unit. You will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to manage moderate to high acuity patients in Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units. The role values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes and prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. You will contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care while welcoming new knowledge. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth, supported by Clinical Educators who guide individualized specialty education and competency validation.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience
- verifiedState licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- verified6 months of nursing (RN) experience
