The Surgical Oncology department operates within the dynamic environment of the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. This team values a multidisciplinary approach to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
You will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within Acute Care (Med-Surg) units characterized by moderate to high patient acuity. This role is integral to the nursing process, requiring you to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. You will contribute to securing safety and quality at the point of care while welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout your clinical orientation. The position utilizes AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards as part of the evidence-based care models for the unit.
