This position is located at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, within the MHC 4 East Medical Surgical department. You will join a dynamic team providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care on an onsite basis. The role focuses on Acute Care (Med-Surg) units handling patients of moderate to high acuity.
In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. The role values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes and contributes to securing safety and quality at the point of care. You will be expected to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth while welcoming new knowledge. Clinical Educators will support and guide your individualized specialty education and training, utilizing AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards to ensure competency validation throughout your clinical orientation.
This is a full-time Night Shift role requiring 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). To support our night shift team, UCHealth offers a Night Shift Incentive Program that pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year) to full-time night shift RNs.
