About the Role

This position offers a 13-week assignment with extension options, focusing on direct patient care within a high-acuity Acute Care (Med-Surg) environment. You will provide top-of-scope practice utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based care. The role values a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes and contributes to securing safety and quality at the point of care.

In this fast-paced, innovative clinical setting, you will model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth, while welcoming new knowledge. The position adheres to AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards to ensure high-quality care for patients with moderate to high acuity.
