Operations is at the heart of Amazon's business, known for our speed, accuracy, and exceptional service. Our facilities deliver tens of thousands of products to hundreds of countries worldwide every day. Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) serves as the business partner working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it all happen. We drive continuous improvement and maintain all Robotics and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to ensure our customers are met with the Amazon smile.
As the RME Planner, you will be the architect of our maintenance strategy, developing comprehensive plans and schedules using recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your work will involve screening Asset Performance Management (APM) work orders, auditing equipment to document work requirements and quality, and estimating labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for all assigned tasks. This role is critical to supporting a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program.
You will collaborate directly with maintenance management, service technicians, and vendors to plan, coordinate, and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows. Additionally, you will ensure that spare parts are ordered and maintained in stock for both planned and emergency repairs, keeping our operations running smoothly.
