Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead reviews of high-risk merchant accounts and prepare recommendations for Underwriting/Risk
- check_circleConduct Third-Party Payment Processor due diligence and develop exposure worksheets
- check_circleAnalyze transaction activity and supporting documentation to assess merchant risk
- check_circleEngage directly with merchants to assess unusual activity and identify potential fraud
- check_circleMonitor portfolio exception reports to identify emerging risks and escalate suspicious activity
- check_circleInvestigate questionable transactions by analyzing patterns, chargebacks, and deposit behavior
- check_circleHelp shape and implement scalable risk policies and procedures for ACH and BankCard programs
- check_circlePartner with Underwriting/Risk and Payments Operations to enhance processes and strengthen controls
- check_circleTrack risk levels through ongoing reviews of processing parameters and key risk indicators
- check_circleCollaborate with BSA/AML/Compliance to escalate and address suspicious activity indicators
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field
- verified5+ years experience in Payments Solutions (ACH and/or BankCard)
- verified3 years of banking experience and/or BSA experience
- verifiedKnowledge of banking laws, bank policies/procedures, and regulations applicable to payments
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- verifiedAbility to utilize AI solutions such as CoPilot
- verifiedAAP (Accredited ACH Professional) or similar certification preferred
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field. 3 years of banking experience and/or BSA experience. Payments experience (ACH or BankCard) with an understanding of merchant business models and processing risk signals. AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) or similar certification.
