About the Opportunity
DAS Technology Group is a specialized recruitment firm serving the RF/Microwave and Defense/Space industries. We are currently seeking an RF Test Engineer for a client that serves critical customers in Defense, Aerospace, SatCom, and Commercial Markets.
About the Role
This position focuses on the design and construction of RF test bench setups and fixtures to support both manual and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testing. The successful candidate will leverage LabVIEW for test automation and possess a deep understanding of RF test equipment, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, and Oscilloscopes.
A core component of the role involves thorough testing of RF power amplifiers. Responsibilities include executing standard RF functionalities such as S-Parameter measurements (S21, S11, S22, S12), IMD, Harmonics, Spurious Emissions, P1dB/P3dB, Gain Compression, Noise Figure, Phase Noise, and ACPR. Additionally, the engineer will support qualification testing protocols, covering environmental factors like temperature variation, humidity, and vibration, as well as EMI/EMC and Lightning testing.
