At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling: to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.
The Effector Guidance Electronics Department is seeking talented engineers with the skills and passion to develop complex Radio Frequency (RF) systems, subsystems, and components, including antennas, RF circuit cards, and RF test equipment. This entry-level Mechanical Engineer position is designed for an individual with a professional interest in applying technical mechanical standards, principles, concepts, and techniques to real-world defense challenges.
You will function as a self-motivated problem solver within a multi-disciplined team, bringing a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating to solve complex engineering problems, creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs, and developing prototype hardware. You will coordinate fabrication efforts and perform hands-on integration and test support for prototype hardware, holding design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote.
