As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you combine top-notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping. This role is designed for those who want to engage with customers and help them solve their home improvement challenges. You will welcome customers, assist them in finding the right products and services, and ensure all their needs are met throughout their visit.
Your day will involve listening to customers, answering questions, organizing merchandise, and occasionally loading items. While your core focus is on customer interaction, your daily responsibilities may vary by department. Depending on hiring needs and your skillset, you may work in areas such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, or Pro Services. You will also guide customers through shopping or checkout and prepare merchandise based on specific needs, such as tinting paint, cutting pipe, or bundling wood.

This role may involve working in both inside and outside weather conditions. You may be exposed to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. The environment may include constant or intermittent noises, as well as moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow safety guidelines regarding lifting, with single lifts limited to 75 pounds and team lifts used for heavier loads or when necessary. Powered equipment should be used as required with proper training.
