About the Role

As a Customer Service Associate, you will combine top-notch customer service skills with genuine care for people to help customers feel comfortable while shopping. This role is designed for those who want to engage with customers and help them solve their home improvement challenges.

Your day will involve welcoming customers, helping them find the right products and services, and ensuring all their needs are met. While you will spend most of your time listening to customers and answering questions, your daily responsibilities will vary by department. Depending on hiring needs and your skillset, you may work in areas such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, or Pro Services. You will also have the opportunity to cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to deliver the best customer service.

Working Conditions

This role may involve working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Associates may be exposed to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. The environment may include constant or intermittent noises, as well as moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow safety guidelines regarding lifting and the use of powered equipment.
