About the Role
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will deliver WOW! Customer Service by exceeding expectations and making a real difference for our customers. Your day will involve engaging with customers to provide trustworthy automotive advice, ensuring positive interactions through clear, professional communication. You will collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment, supporting team members and demonstrating leadership in daily responsibilities.
You will be responsible for recommending products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience while contributing to sales goals. The role requires utilizing structured processes to complete tasks efficiently, including restocking merchandise, maintaining organization, and following proper point of sale procedures and loss prevention policies. Additionally, you will use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions, staying up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Hiring Process
To apply, candidates must meet the minimum age requirement of 16 years old. We look for individuals with the physical ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, as well as a flexible schedule availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. While basic automotive knowledge, previous experience in automotive retail, and ASE Certification are considered extra milestones, strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English are highly valued.
