About the Role
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service by exceeding expectations and making a real difference for our customers. Your day-to-day involves engaging with customers to provide trustworthy automotive advice, recommending products and services, and assisting with product selection. You will collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment, supporting one another in daily responsibilities.
You will be responsible for maintaining well-stocked inventory, organizing merchandise, and following proper point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies. The role also includes utilizing diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommending solutions, while staying up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Safety is a priority; you will follow company safety policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain a secure work environment.
Hiring Process
To apply, you must be at least 16 years old and available for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. We are looking for individuals with strong people skills and effective communication abilities. While basic knowledge of automotive parts, previous experience in automotive retail, or ASE Certification are preferred, we welcome candidates with a passion for learning and serving the community.
