As a Restaurant Leader, you will provide the strategic direction necessary to drive the success of your location. Your mission is to maintain rigorous operations standards while fostering growth in sales and profit through dedicated people development. You will serve as the primary guardian of the Raising Cane's culture, teaching, modeling, and upholding these values for every crewmember, customer, and partner you interact with.
This role operates within a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment. Success requires the ability to manage extended periods of physical exertion, including walking, standing, lifting, and bending. You will work both inside and outside in varied temperatures, handling food products, common allergens, and industrial equipment. The position involves the use of commercial cleaning products and personal protective equipment as essential components of daily operations.
In this position, you are the architect of your restaurant's financial health. You will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring profit and loss statements to execute strategies that ensure overall financial success. Beyond the numbers, you will ensure strict compliance with company policies, standards, and all applicable laws.
Your leadership extends to the entire management team. You will oversee the hiring and termination of management-level crewmembers, manage payroll processes, and create work and training schedules. A key part of your impact is developing your team through performance management and utilizing reward and recognition programs to maintain high morale. As the Manager on Duty, you will open and close the restaurant, manage cash handling, and deploy crewmembers to deliver exemplary customer service.
You will also be the steward of the facility, ensuring the restaurant remains clean and in good working order. By utilizing required tools, forms, and logs, you will document results and take corrective action when needed to achieve and maintain "training restaurant" status and meet all operational performance metrics.
