About the Team
We are looking for Restaurant General Managers (RGM) to join our team. Our restaurants are staffed with amazing people, and we are looking for more. We foster a passionate, fun, and positive work environment with a welcoming and supportive team.
About the Role
The RGM leads the operation of the restaurant and holds overall responsibility for ensuring the location meets GPS Hospitality standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. This role is not undertaken alone; the RGM works closely with a dedicated team of managers to drive success.
You will be responsible for executing accurate projections and schedules while working all shifts, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekends. A key part of your day involves maintaining a safe and clean working environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, and demonstrating strong critical thinking skills. You will also serve as a bridge to the community, engaging in frequent contact with the public, local businesses, and organizations to develop and improve the restaurant's public relations.
As a leader, you will hire, train, and coach a service-obsessed crew and shift leaders, while also developing the capabilities of Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees. Your performance will be directly tied to hitting sales and profit budgets, implementing tight restaurant controls for cash and inventory, and successfully executing marketing promotions.
