About the Hotel

The iconic Hotel del Coronado is an historic landmark located on Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego. Built in 1888, this 28-acre property features over 700 rooms, including cottages and villas, and 96,000 square feet of banquet space. The resort recently completed a $200M renovation project, introducing additional banquet space and exciting F&B enhancements. The property boasts 10 distinct food and beverage outlets, ranging from four restaurants and two bars to a food truck, marketplace, and ice cream shop.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Restaurant General Manager to oversee Serẽa, our sea-to-table dining experience offering elevated coastal cuisine with a Mediterranean flair. Created by Clique Hospitality, Serẽa features a robust, environmentally friendly menu prepared by San Diego native and Executive Chef JoJo Ruiz. The menu showcases the comprehensive, complex, and expressive flavor profiles of the region's best fresh fish, intricate seafood, and heritage meats, offering everything from fresh whole catch to seafood towers and composed dishes.

In this role, you will direct and administer all aspects of the restaurant's operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will partner with Sales and Marketing to create and maintain customer databases, maximize efficiency through technology systems like OpenTable, and implement up-selling techniques to drive revenue. Your day-to-day will involve recruiting, interviewing, and training team members, monitoring service trends, and ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
