About the Role
Happy Camper is looking for an Events Coordinator to join our team! This position is tasked with the booking, planning, and coordinating of all Happy Hospitality restaurant events. The successful candidate will take on a key leadership role in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality company. You'll be the point of contact for our events department and work closely with the General Manager, Director of Operations, and the Chief Operating Officer.
This role provides an opportunity to grow and develop in an organization with a mission that has real positive social impact, in addition to aggressive business goals. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage communication with potential clients and respond to event inquiries
- check_circleDevelop Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and update them as needed
- check_circleReview menu and beverage selections with General Manager and Kitchen Manager
- check_circleDevelop new client relationships and strengthen existing partnerships
- check_circleMaintain confidential and meticulous customer files
- check_circleCoordinate all organizational aspects of events for Happy Hospitality locations
- check_circleCoordinate staff scheduling and ensure equipment availability for events
- check_circleIdentify business potential, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals
- check_circleCreate event proposals including floorplans, custom menus, and outlines
- check_circleHandle contracts, invoices, deposits, and account reconciliations
- check_circleCommunicate BEOs to Front of House and Back of House management teams
Requirements
- verified1-2 years experience
- verifiedMust be eligible to legally work in the United States

Nice to Have
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience, previous experience using event platforms, previous sales experience, familiarity with reservation and booking platforms (i.e. Open Table)
