The RT Vent Field Clinician is a specialized Respiratory Therapist dedicated to delivering optimal care to patients requiring ventilator support. Operating within AdaptHealth's network, this role extends respiratory services to alternate care sites, ensuring a continuum of preventative, rehabilitative, and palliative care. The position serves as a critical bridge between the patient, their family, and the broader medical community, utilizing agency and community resources to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
In this capacity, you will not only provide direct clinical care but also act as an educator and advocate. You will collaborate closely with physicians, referral sources, and other patient agencies to ensure prompt attention to care issues. The role involves a dynamic day-to-life that includes conducting clinical assessments, managing complex ventilator setups, and facilitating smooth transitions for patients moving from hospital to home settings. You will serve as a resource for hospital staff and other professionals, providing in-services on equipment and clinical best practices while ensuring all care plans remain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date.

Candidates selected for this role will be expected to complete assigned compliance training and educational programs as required. The position involves assuming on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy, ensuring 24/7 support for patient needs.
