About the Role

Join our Respiratory Therapy team at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. In this PRN role, you will serve as a vital partner in patient care, evaluating and treating patients with respiratory conditions. Your day will involve administering prescribed therapeutic services, developing individualized care plans based on patient diagnoses, and monitoring patient responses to treatment.

You will work closely with physicians and the broader care team to ensure safety and efficacy, responding to medical emergencies and rapid responses with a constant state of alertness. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and their families about health conditions and connecting them with community support resources. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Schedule and Location

This is a 12-week contract position (with possible extension) located at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. The role operates on a part-time basis with a night shift schedule, consisting of two 12-hour shifts per week. Shift differentials are available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.
