The RT Vent Field Clinician is a specialized Respiratory Therapist dedicated to delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients requiring ventilator support in alternate care settings. In this position, you will serve as a vital link between the patient, their family, physicians, and the broader care team. Your day-to-day involves utilizing agency and community resources to navigate complex clinical needs, ensuring that care objectives are met with precision and compassion. You will be responsible for educating patients and caregivers on equipment usage, managing technical discharges to ensure smooth transitions to home settings, and collaborating with referral sources to uphold best practice standards.
As a Field Clinician, you will leverage your clinical expertise to evaluate ventilator records, troubleshoot equipment, and make critical decisions based on compliance data and patient assessments. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies and regulatory guidelines. You will also act as a resource for hospital staff and other professionals, providing in-services on equipment and clinical issues while maintaining strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociates degree from an AMA approved respiratory program
- verifiedValid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch
- verifiedCPR certified
- verifiedOne (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT or clinical nursing with Vent experience
- verifiedValid and unrestricted driver's license
