We are hiring for positions ranging from new graduates to Respiratory Therapist 4 across specialties including Adult, Pediatrics, Flight, and Diagnostic care. Locations may vary from the main hospital to other sites, with qualifications determined by experience.
The Respiratory Therapist 2 serves as an advanced practitioner and resource, providing safe and effective respiratory care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. During a transitional duty period, this role learns and completes assigned responsibilities while adhering to discipline training, Clinical Practice Guidelines, and hospital standards. Beyond direct patient care, the position acts as an educator for patients, caregivers, hospital staff, and students. In the absence of a supervisor, the incumbent may function as a shift team leader.
This role requires independent action in cardiopulmonary assessment and monitoring, including during emergency responses, airway care, and selecting appropriate ventilator parameters. The therapist will consult with physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient care plans and maintain a clean, well-stocked work area. Depending on the assignment, the position may involve rotating shifts, weekend and holiday work, and on-call duties.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
