About the Role
As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be the vital link between medical diagnosis and patient recovery. This role is designed for those who thrive in high-stakes environments and find purpose in caring for the most vulnerable. You will evaluate patients, develop comprehensive care plans based on specific physician orders, and administer advanced respiratory therapeutic services. Your day will involve monitoring patient conditions, performing complex respiratory modalities, and responding to medical emergencies and rapid responses with precision and calm.
Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as an educator, guiding patients and families through health conditions and connecting them with community support resources. You will also play a key role in maintaining the safety and readiness of our department by managing equipment calibration, inventory, and sterilization protocols. This is a full-time, night-shift position (36 hours/week) covering every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team that operates when the hospital needs it most.
