As a Respiratory Therapist, you will serve as a vital member of the healthcare team, evaluating patients and administering prescribed therapeutic services. Your day-to-day involves assessing patient needs to develop tailored care plans, implementing advanced respiratory modalities, and monitoring patient conditions closely. You will work in constant collaboration with physicians to ensure care aligns with specific orders and department guidelines, while also educating patients and their families about their health conditions and available community resources.
This position requires a high level of alertness to respond effectively to medical emergencies and rapid responses. You will also play a key role in the maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment, ensuring all devices are clean, sterile, and ready for use.
Candidates licensed in Missouri (CRT or RRT) are encouraged to apply. The role is currently open as a PRN (Per Diem) position with no set schedule, offering shift differentials for nights and weekends. Qualified applicants will be reviewed based on their licensure and ability to meet the physical and professional requirements of the department.
