This position is more than a career; it is a calling. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will serve as a vital member of the healthcare team, providing essential care for patients requiring respiratory support. Your role involves evaluating patients to determine the appropriate type and frequency of treatment, developing individualized plans of care based on specific diagnoses, and administering prescribed therapeutic services.
You will work in a constant state of alertness, responding to medical emergencies and rapid responses while monitoring and communicating patient conditions. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and their families about health conditions and connecting them with community support resources. The role requires a collaborative approach, working in accordance with physician orders, department policies, and established guidelines to ensure the highest quality of patient outcomes.
This is a regular, full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week. The role operates on a night shift schedule, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week (18:30 to 07:00). The schedule includes various days of the week, with every third weekend required. There is no on-call requirement for this position.
