About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist at Monroe Hospital, you will be the cornerstone of patient care, providing essential evaluation and therapeutic services for those with respiratory conditions. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting, where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes. You will work closely with physicians and the care team to develop and implement personalized plans of care, ensuring that every treatment is tailored to the patient's specific diagnosis and needs.
Your day will be a blend of clinical precision and compassionate interaction. You will assess patients, administer prescribed respiratory therapies, and monitor their progress with a constant state of alertness. Beyond the technical aspects of your job, you will play a vital role in educating patients and their families about their health conditions, connecting them with community support groups, and guiding them through their recovery journey. Work Environment & Schedule
This is a full-time position (36 hours per week) based at Monroe Hospital. The schedule is designed to balance the demands of patient care with your well-being, featuring one 12-hour night shift and the remaining hours on the day shift. This variable shift structure ensures that our patients receive 24/7 care while allowing team members to maintain a sustainable work-life rhythm.
