About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be the frontline provider for patients requiring respiratory therapeutic services. Your day will involve assessing patients to determine the appropriate type and frequency of treatment, then developing and implementing a comprehensive plan of care based on specific diagnoses and physician orders. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering advanced respiratory care modalities, and ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of all respiratory equipment.

Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in patient education, guiding patients and their families through their health conditions and connecting them with community support resources. You will also be a key responder during medical emergencies and rapid response situations, working in a constant state of alertness to maintain a safe environment for everyone in the hospital.
